The U16s made their final trip of the season to Lathallan for the annual 7s. This was a great chance to round off the season and the lads arrived with optimism. Winning both pool games put us in the cup semi final against Strathallan, who were too strong for us in the end. The lads fought till the end, and at times played some excellent rugby but with fatigue setting in the lads couldn’t overcome the speed of the opposition.

Player of the day - Harrison, scoring a hat trick against Wanderers and some great runs in the other games after missing the second half of the season, which was great to see.

Special mentions to Callum for leading the team as Captain, Joel and Oliver for excellent tackling, along with Matt, Marley and Coen who were a threat in attack.
