Unfortunately the U16’s were beaten today in the U16 Scottish Cup knocks and tiredness took its toll.

Again we started slowly but it was a very even game until we conceded two tries in quick succession but got back into the game through tenacity and grit pulled along by Lucas and Fraser W. Trailing 17-14 at half time. Unfortunately several factors went against is in the second half.
We certainly had great vocal support there, thanks to those that travelled.
MOTM was Fraser Whittaker for a defiant display.

Special mentions for Lucas our try scoring machine, Fraser M (U15’s) who showed he is more then capable at playing at this level.
Theo and Finlay who both never stop working around the pitch. Oliver again, for his defensive work but also some brilliant attacks off rucks which caused panic in EK’s defence, and Marley, your best game at full back yet. Some cracking tackles and good clearing kicks.
We are starting to build a structure and style of play and though this was a defeat, with continued work in training we can build and be ready to have a real go at the Caley Cup.
