U18s started really well, taking the lead early with a try and conversion. Deeside replied with a try of their own. Mackie showed great attacking structure with forwards making ground and backs running blocker plays with short tip passes. This drew Deeside players into the centre of the pitch, allowing us to capitalise scoring tries out wide. Halftime score 15-25 Mackie.

Mackie continued to attack well in the second half, scoring early again. As the game progressed, Deeside increased the tempo, and we started conceding penalties, allowing Deeside to score a couple of quick tries. We managed to hold them out, winning 30- 39. We will be focusing on our defensive structure this week.
