The Youth Girls made the long trip to Highland RFC for the joint Caledonia North Festival for both U12s and U14s. The journey started early as the girls made the long trip via club mini bus and they seemed in great spirit on arrival with an eagerness to get going.

The U12s mixed with Ellon, Moray and Deeside played against Caithness in a few games with some training added in the middle. Both our U12s played really well and showed how much progress they have made through training in recent weeks.

The U14s went up against Highland, Ross Sutherland, Caithness, Garioch/Deeside and Fraserbugh/Ellon with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. Was great to see what we have worked on being put into the games and a massive thank you to Moray for giving us 3 players to max out our squad. Too many good performances to name a player of the day however the leadership of Helen, Ellie and Nuala was amazing.

We are always looking for new players in our youth girl section and training times can be found on the website or on social media.

Special thanks to Shaun for driving the mini bus, parents for coming along to support, Highland for a wonderful event and to Leah M who helped with the U12s as a Youth Helper at the weekend.
