Mackie hosted the final 'Great North Challenge' event before Christmas at Redcloak on Sunday morning. With a mixed team against Garioch and the help of a player from Ellon, 3 x15-minute games took place with lots of running rugby and teamwork.

The girls have made real progress this season and numbers in the team are growing with us fielding 7 of our own today with 3 unavailable.

Massive thanks to parents and coaches for support along with fellow DO Finlay from Deeside for refereeing. Also a massive thanks to the Vixens for assisting on the day with coaching and managing game time for the girls.

Overall a great morning of girls rugby on show!
