The festival was attended by over 80 pupils who all attend extra curricular rugby sessions delivered by Club Development Officer Alex Beveridge. Games were touch rugby format and had a mix of boys and girls in each team with some excellent rugby on show.

Mackie Academy won the trophy for first place, however all teams attending put in great effort and was an excellent morning to rugby attended by parents, school staff and members of the club.

A massive thanks to all who made this event possible and future school events are being planned.

All 3 academies within our catchment (Mearns, Mackie and Portlethen) have extra curricular rugby sessions and this can be signed up to via Active Schools.
