Mackie Rugby Club’s 50th Anniversary Dinner was a fantastic success, bringing together generations of players, coaches, volunteers, parents, sponsors and supporters to celebrate this incredible milestone in the club’s history.

It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, memories and stories, as past and present members came together to reflect on the journey of Mackie RFC over the last five decades. Seeing so many familiar faces under one roof highlighted the strength of our club and the lifelong friendships that rugby creates.

The club would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so special. Our volunteers and coaches once again demonstrated the commitment and dedication that keeps Mackie RFC thriving, while the support of our parents and sponsors continues to play a vital role in everything we do.

A huge thank you also goes to our guest speakers, John Barclay and Ryan Wilson, whose entertaining stories, humour and reflections captivated the audience and made the evening one to remember. We are equally grateful to our Master of Ceremonies Bruce Aitchison for keeping the celebrations flowing throughout the night.

As we celebrate everything that has been achieved over the past 50 years, we also look forward with excitement to the future of Mackie RFC. With the continued support of our members, volunteers, sponsors and local community, the next chapter promises to be just as exciting.
