The SRU have invited the U18 to take part in a sevens tournament that is to be held on the same day as the Glasgow International Sevens at Scotstoun. The main event will feature the worlds top international sides (and Scotland).

The boys will play on the pitches outside the main stadium and will face some top opposition from the other league winners etc in their age group, from all over Scotland.

They will also be allowed into the main event to support Scotland etc.

If they get to the final they will play at the Commonwealth Games main pitch.

This is a massive honour for the Club, and in my opinion, just reward for a season well played. The U18 are one of a only a handful of sides to be invited to this tournament.

Once the SRU get full details to me I will pass them on, but please keep 3-4 May clear in your diaries.
