Good effort from the squad who travelled to Kinross for a really tough tournament. West of Scotland and Kinross were the two teams above them who were both exceptionally good sides. We have a long way to work to get to that standard but there were elements of the team you could be showing yesterday. I think Sunday was a bit of a wake up call that the game is changing and you need to play like you do in training as a whole team. The tackles are harder and size doesn't really matter any more but playing as a team does. This showed against good wins against Melrose and Linlithgow. The Dundee draw was a heads down game but you sparked for 5 minutes and clutched the game back.
So some really good positives from you all and more numbers at training well help everyone develop. It is always good to have something to work for so lets get the heads up and try to play a new style of rugby. Training is on the 4G pitches on Wednesday 6 til 7pm.
Thanks P6 coaches
