Go forwards and stay connected

What a rugbyTASTIC turn out at the club's open day for all the mini age range players at MRC HQ?
The new P4s were straight into a warm up of toilet tig to get those muscles moving and heart rate up.
Next up the squad were split into groups of 3 to allow the coaches to see how their passing of the rugby ball was like. With reminders from the coaching team that players needed to "go forward" and "stay connected", they were able to show off their long reach, rotation of the shoulders and the superman hands finish. Most of the trios managed at least 1 run without dropping the rugby ball.
The squad were then split into 2 teams where they played against each other in the newer, bigger playing area for the P4 level.
After a short water break so that they could drink to think, they were split into pairs where they had to play heads, shoulders, knees and cones. The fist pump was then followed by 1 player moving down the line to a new partner.
It was sharks, fishes and jellyfishes next where they were showed that you needed to go forward and stay connects both in attack and defence.
The squad were mixed up again for the final game and the coaching team could see that players were going forward and staying connected by displaying some great attack at speed and pressure in defence.
