when the going gets tough .........
Mackie win a tough game of rugby at Carnoustie. It was never going to be a classic, but the grit and determination from the improving Mackie team saw them through.
A first half try from Dean Gerrard and a conversion saw the Mackie team go in at halftime 6-7 to the good.
three further penalties from the boot of prop Calum Reddish, the last being all of 45m, saw the mackie team victorious.
