Lovely Spring morning certainly was boosted by the great turnout of the squad with some long absentees returning and new faces trying out some rugby for the first time.
You all got the idea of the sharks and fishes and the addition of the killer shark certainly made you go forward faster.
First game of bibs v non bibs was done with a new twist. More points for passing than scoring certainly helped to keep the ball alive.
The TIG games and no pain no gain sessions introduced some good foundational movements some of which you could see where to use them in a game situation.
The final game of bibs v non bibs was full on with lots of support play by players being behind the ball carrier, keeping the ball alive by passing the rugby ball and some effective tackle hold/ tackles by players defending their lines.
To complete the sunny session with some rugby rounders was FUNtastic.
Remember to ask your rugby brain what is the 1 thing I need to start doing and 1 thing I need to stop doing to improve my foundational movements.
