Mackie Under 15's attended at The Charlie McLennan Memorial 10's at Boroughmuir on Sunday 04/05/2014. Mackie's first game was a hard fought game against the hosts which was played on the 1st pitch in front of the main stand, which was the same pitch that Edinburgh had played Munster the night before, Mackie played good hard rugby and came away beating Boroughmuir, a game against Dundee was next, but on this occasion Dundee's power play got the better of Mackie. Mackie after a game against Ayr subsequently were put in the Quaich Final to secure third place in an extremely competitive and high standard competition which Bouroughmuir had organised.
The game against Peebles was hard fought with both teams determined to win, but Mackie proved to be too strong running out 12 - 4 winners and winning their first silverware this season.
