Happy New Year to Everyone
Beautiful winter sunshine greeted the Annual Boxing Day game in 2017.
Despite the snow, frost and rain in the previous weeks the bottom pitch at Redcloak was in good albeit soggy condition.
The first game saw the Original Mammoths beat the newer additions to the ranks and the traditional Captains v Presidents saw a very entertaining well matched game end up with the Presidents retaining the trophy they won last year.
Willie Pittendreigh was on hand to present the Presidents Captain Callum Redditch with the Paul McGinn Friendship Quaich.
A good turnout from all involved with Alex Thurlow, Jamie Kindness and John Lahoar making an appearance as well as Jamie Berrisford and a friend from Life University bolstering the Presidents numbers. A couple of new faces also having a run out with rumours abound that they may become permanent additions in 2018.
